Sara Parsons
Sara Parsons is an Associate with Gallun Snow Associates, a Commercial Interior Design firm specializing in healthcare interiors located in Denver, Colorado. Gallun Snow Associates made the list of “Interior Design Giants in Healthcare” in Interior Design Magazine Nov 1, 2007. Sara joined Gallun Snow in 2004 and brings many years of healthcare design experience to the team.

In 2002, Sara was the proud recipient of the ASID Colorado Chapter Healthcare Design Award.
Community Involvement
Through the years Sara has volunteered in many capacities including ASID Colorado Chapter Professional Development Director 2005 to 2007 and Director at Large of Student Affairs 2004 to 2005.Currently Sara is serving as the ASID Colorado STEP Chair person where she supports interior designers preparing to take the NCIDQ exam. She is an AAHID and NCIDQ certificate holder, a long time member of ASID and a proud recent member of AAHID.

Questions
Who would you say is the most influential designer or architect in your career?
One of my earliest mentors, Danette Ferretti. Her patience and example are with me still all these years later. Thanks Danette!
What is your favorite indulgence?
Traveling with my boyfriend! We love to get away from the day to day and see new things, visit historical and beautiful places in person, soak up the culture and architecture and then come home and capture the memories in a scrapbook. Some of my favorite trips included touring the castles of Scotland and hiking along the coast of Italy and most recently hiking up to an 80 year old tea house in the Canadian Rockies.
What is something you cannot live without?
My Yellow Lab, Nugget. She keeps my world balanced and always reminds me of the lighter side of life. As the saying goes, I aspire to be the person she thinks I am.
What CD is in your car right now?
Carrie Underwood, Carnival, I have become a country music fan, Yikes! I’m also a fan of French for Travelers, we never know where the next adventure will take us...
