SOURCE FOUR MANAUFACTURERS WIN BIG AT NEOCON WORLD’S TRADE FAIR
DENVER, Colo.—Source Four Inc., a regional provider of unique commercial furnishings, announced that products of three of the manufacturers it represents were honored in the Best of NeoCon 2008 competition of contract furnishing products at the NeoCon World’s Trade Fair.
The award-winning products are:
Brit Bench Metallic by Leland, which won the Silver Award for Bench Seating. The sculptural Brit Bench for public seating can be used as a stand-alone feature or linked together to form molecular-like arrangements. The bench, available in stainless steel, power coated steel or upholstery, offers an optional table that appears to float over the bench, and can serve as a surface for a drink, small meal or laptop.
Sideways by HAG by izzydesign, which won the Gold Award for Conference Seating. The Sideways chair offers 180 degrees of freedom of movement, and 360 degrees of communication, thanks to its open design and comfortable rocking motion. The chair is designed to move and function the way the human body moves, encouraging movement without restriction, which is the cornerstone of HAG’s product design.
Patterned PVC-Free Upholstery Collection by C.F. Stinson, which won the Silver Award for Healthcare Fabrics. The collection is similar to conventional vinyl in that it provides a durable and easy solution for high-use upholstery applications—yet it contains no PVC, offering the performance of vinyl and a reduced environmental impact. The Silver award was the highest level award distributed in the healthcare fabrics category at Best of NeoCon 2008.

The Best of NeoCon Awards, presented each year during NeoCon World’s Trade Fair, recognize the most innovative new designs for commercial furnishings and are considered the highest honor commercial furnishings manufacturers can receive.
This year, a total of 352 products were entered in 39 product and furnishing categories in the competition, which is sponsored by Contract magazine, Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc., The International Interior Design Association (IIDA), The International Facility Management Association (IFMA), and McMorrow Report.com. Seventy-two awards were distributed.
