About My Projects
This valuable tool allows you to click on product images as you tour the Source Four website, saving them in a file that is viewable only by you. That file will contain a complete list of products with pricing and specifications that can then be downloaded into an Excel document for printing. Instant budgeting!
Your files will stay active until you delete them. So go ahead, create as many project files as you need. You might also consider creating a My Favorites file for later use. Have fun with it!
How to Sign Up for My Projects

The sign up form for My Projects can be accessed from a number of spots on the website. On the homepage, click New Users Sign-Up in the login box, or click the What is My Projects? link in the left navigation bar. You do not need to create a My Projects account to take advantage of the project functionality; however, temporary project folders will not be saved once you leave the site. The sign up process takes only a minute or two, and then you are free to start creating project folders.
Another advantage of creating a My Projects account is that you won’t need to re-enter your information for Source Four literature requests. Of course, your information is used only to maintain a file area for you and fulfill literature requests, and will not be shared with any other parties.
Once you have submitted the sign up form, an email will be sent to you from the Source Four website. To complete the sign up process, you must click the link in the email to activate your account. If you have problems, please contact us.
How to Create a Project Folder
If you have not signed up for a My Projects account, the default project folder will be named Temporary Guest Account. Any products picked during your session will be saved to the Temporary account. Once you leave the site or your session ends, the information will be gone.
If you have a My Projects account, simply log in on the homepage by entering your username and password. Once you are logged in you can create a new folder anywhere the project folder drop down menu appears. Simply click the drop down menu to open it, select New Project, click the GO button, enter your project title and click Create Project.
How to Save a Product to My Projects
At anytime when you are perusing products on the Source Four website, you can check the box next to an item or click the Save this Product link to add it to your My Projects folder. First, check the project folder drop down menu to make sure the project you want to save to is selected. The Save this Product link will add items one at a time to your project folder. To add multiple items, click the checkboxes next to their names and click the Add Checked link next to the project folder drop down menu, and then click the GO button.
How to Save Multiple Products to My Projects

How to Delete a Product from My Projects
To delete a product from My Projects, you must first view the project folder that contains the products you would like to delete. To view a My Project folder, make sure it is selected in the project folder drop down menu, then click the GO button. This will take you to the page for the selected project folder. On this page, check the box next to product names you wish to remove, and then click the Delete Checked link.
How to Delete a to My Projects Folder
To delete a folder from My Projects, log in and then click View My Projects in the left navigation bar. This will display a page that lists all of your project folders. To delete one, locate the desired project folder by name and click the Delete link next to it. Please note that once a project folder has been deleted, you cannot retrieve the file.
How to Rename a My Projects Folder
To rename a My Projects folder, log in and then click View My Projects in the left navigation bar. This will display a page that lists all of your project folders. To rename one, locate the desired project folder name and click the Rename link next to it. Enter the new folder name, then click the Rename Project button.
How to View a My Projects Folder
To view a My Projects folder, make sure it is selected in the project folder drop down menu, then click the GO button. This will take you to the page for the project folder selected. From this page you can download an Excel file of your project folder, delete products from your project folder and view past literature requests.
How to Download an Excel File
Excel files are specific to each project folder. To view a My Projects folder, make sure it is selected in the project folder drop down menu, then click the GO button. This will take you to the page for the project folder selected. On this page you can download an Excel file of your project folder by clicking the Download Excel File button at the top of the page. If you computer is having problems downloading, you may need to enable download permissions. This difficulty is most common on the PC when using Internet Explorer.
Our site is safe, so if you have difficulties downloading files on your PC, try the following to enable download permissions:
- Click the yellow bar at the top that says "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer. Click here for options..", then select "Download File..." or,
- Select Tools-->Internet Options; Select the "Security" tab; click the "Custom Level" button; then select "Enable" under "Automatic prompting for file downloads."
How to Retrieve a Forgotten Password
If you have forgotten your password, simply try logging in on the home page without your password. A new page will come up asking if you have forgotten your password. Click the Forgot Your Login Information? link, then enter the email address you used to sign up for My Projects. Your password will be emailed to you.
How to Log Out
There is no log out button on the Source Four website. You will automatically be logged out by the system after 20 minutes of inactivity, or if you close your browser window.
How to Use Search

You can search for product two ways on the site. The first way is to type in your search terms using the search box at the top of the page.
The second way is to sort by product category using the navigation tree on the left-hand navigation bar. Click to open a category and display the subcategories. Once a subcategory is chosen, you will be directed to a results page with thumbnail images of all the products in that subcategory. These results are automatically sorted alphabetically, but can be sorted by price by the clicking the Price link above the results.
How to Use the Navigation Tree to Search

You can search products by product category using the navigation tree on the left-hand navigation bar. On this navigation bar, click to open a category and display the subcategories. How to Edit Your Account Information
If your address, email or any other account information changes, simply log in and click View My Projects. Then click the Edit My Account link. Update your information and then click the Edit My Account button at the bottom of the form.
How to Enable PC Download Permissions
